Dental Office Coordinator

Department/Program: Hannahville Health & Human Services

Description:

This full time (32 hour) position will primarily be responsible for all aspects of dental office operations and clerical duties; will perform receptionist, record keeping and billing; will provide dental care in accordance with Indian Health Service (IHS) and tribal priorities/guidelines.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two years’ experience in dental office management with demonstrated experience in dental billing.  Knowledge of all areas of dental office management and care, materials and procedures consistent with required education and experience; ADA dental codes and dental billing; business English, proper spelling, grammar and punctuation; records management and basic accounting procedures including budgeting.  Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing; carry out assigned duties and routine clinic office functions while maintaining effective working relationships; write clear and concise reports, memoranda, directives and letters; handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines; work independently with minimal supervision. Skills in operating various word-processing, spreadsheets, and database software programs in a Windows environment.

Wage: N6 ($14.12-$21.13) or dependent upon qualifications.
