This full time position’s primary responsibility is intensive, in-home case supervision to prevent removal of children from the home. Worker will assist families in addressing issues related to family functioning, child safety, parenting skills and interpersonal relationships by intervention or by referral to the appropriate resources for problems related to illness, physical/mental handicaps, substance abuse, child abuse/neglect and criminal activity. Additional responsibilities: Child/adult protective service (CPS/APS) coverage on evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be able to provide current affirmative relevant work references.Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice or Behavioral Sciences. Two years of casework experience in a related child welfare agency and child protective service experience preferred. Experienced in social services / child welfare / child protection field.
Wage: Dependent upon qualifications
