Medical Records Coordinator

Department/Program: Health and Human Resources


This full time Health and Human Services position will be responsible for daily chart and medical record processing in the Medical Records Department; and will perform clerical duties in the Business Office Department.


Associates degree in medical related field, such as Business Office practices, Health Information Management, Medical Office practices.  Typing and strong computer skills, good communication skills, 1 to 2 years of experience working in a medical office.  Proficient in ICD-10 and CPT coding preferred.  Knowledge in Medical records practice, medical confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.  Knowledge of secured record management.  Compliance with federal and applicable state laws.

Wage: N3 $10.29 - $15.85 or dependent upon qualifications
