Department/Program: Hannahville Indian School Nah Tah Wahsh Public School AcademyDescription:
This full time position will greet the public, manage secured door entry for entrances, answers phones, helps with clerical needs of various people, delivers mail, maintains copy machines and files documents in student files. This position will monitor security cameras and control secure entrances and contact appropriate personnel to determine if individual needs to enter building or wait in waiting area for staff or students; utilizes Power School to maintain student records and look up student/parent information; fill out tardy slips when students arrive late, record and report attendance on school tracking system and Truancy Department and works with the school secretary on all duties as assigned or needed to ensure compliance with Attendance/Truancy procedures. Files documents in student and staff files, by adhering to FERPA regulations and strict confidentiality.Qualifications:
Must have a High School diploma/GED; must possess a valid MI. Driver’s license; must have documented two years of administrative/professional office assistance experience is required; must have excellent computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft word and excel. Must have good organizational skills; excellent clerical and communication skills (both written and verbal); must be neat and clean in appearance and be able to work with the public and employees in a professional and courteous manner; must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Must be able to work under pressure and prioritize and handle several tasks at one time and complete assigned projects; must have the ability to carry out assigned projects to their completion. Must be able to pass a background and drug and alcohol testing.
Wage: N2 ($8.23-$13.21) DEPENDENT UPON QUALIFICATIONS.
