3-4 SUBSTITUTE TRANSPORTER/ OUTREACH AIDES: These temporary, irregular hour positions provides safe and efficient transportation to DHHS clients to attend group or scheduled Behavioral Health appointments as well as doing outreach to clients and some miscellaneous organizational tasks for the program. Responsible to coordinate all transport requests, organize transports, transport clients; to deliver client to destination in a timely manner; to select route to destination and drive tribal vehicle; assists disabled and challenged clients into/out of vehicle and throughout appointment, if necessary; maintains record by completing Driver’s Log forms, safe, clean vehicle and protects clients by complying with highway rules and regulations; complies with HIC policies and procedure manual, as well as DHHS.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; must have valid driver’s license and be able to meet the minimum insurance requirements regarding driving record in order to utilize tribal vehicles; must be courteous and punctual; must be able to navigate by road maps; must maintain client confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential; must not smoke cigarettes/cigars/pipes while transporting clients or operating tribal vehicles; must not text, in any way, while transporting clients or operating tribal vehicles; must be able to pass the background and drug and alcohol policies.
Wage: $10.00 per hour
