YOUTH SERVICES & 21st Century Program Coordinator

Department/Program: Hannahville Indian School


This full time position supervises and interacts with youth on a daily basis as they utilize the Youth Center and participate in activities; assisting the director and coordinator in the development, implementation, coordination and supervision of academic and recreational activities.  This position requires direct interaction with children in grades K-12, parents and community members; serves as the supervisor of youth service staff and activities in the absence of the Director.


Associates degree or obtain the ACT National Career Readiness Certificate by achieving a Level Score of 3 or better on all three WorkKeys assessments (within 6 months of hire) Must possess and maintain a current valid MI. driver’s license meeting all insurance carrier requirements(and ability to obtain chauffer’s license); experience facilitating activities for children (ages 7-19 years) and their families; knowledge of current youth issues and trends; basic computer knowledge-windows, excel, internet, email, etc. ability to problem solve regarding youth behavior issues; to handle multiple tasks at one time in a stressful environment; talk to kids about issues and concerns; must be a good role model at work and in the community; able to pass a school background and drug test.

Wage: N3 or dependent upon qualifications.
